PARACAS NATIONAL RESERVE

At the Paracas National Reserve, you will enjoy the amazing desert views, aside from the relax of the beaches. The route to take will depend on participant fitness, and basically will takes us along their beaches and cliffs and by a ground of compact sand known here as conchales.
As the ride must be done very early in the morning, the only way is to travel the day before.

The Zones

HEADING SOUTH

Departing from El Chaco you should enter the Reserve, once there taking the left road, we start to ride heading south. A very flat land with light up and downs lets ride easy following the border of the shores and cliffs. One stop before the way back is Mendieta beach. Unless you want to go south and connect Ica you may continue to Independece Bay.

A CLOSER LOOP

This zone is more hilly than south side. Once you enter the Reserve must ride south west, heading Playa Roja and Lagunillas. From there we climb near La Mina to get Mirador de Lobos.
Once there the road ends and we must cross the hills carrying bikes just to find a huge desert plain that must get crossed pointing north to join the paved road that finishes at El Chaco.
